The Phases of Construction of a New Home

The phases of construction a buyer of a new home in Highland Green might expect are the focus of these pages. They are intended to assist our customers in an overview of the likely elements and stages of the construction process.

At Highland Green our homes range in size from 2134 sq. feet to 2310 sq. feet. Our new product is an attached single family home with wooded, lakeside and parkside views available. Landscape and lawn maintenance is included in your Homeowners fees. Mostly maintenance free exteriors let you spend your time doing what you want not what you have too.

Please see the Chesapeake Homes Highland Green website for details about the neighborhood and virtual tours of our new homes. There are a number of terms you will hear during the construction phases and these notes will help you see their role in the overall process.

New homes in Highland Green are built on a raised solid foundation using a minimum of two courses of block (16 inches) above grade.
